Thropton Village First School are keen to recruit two more academy councillors to join our growing and fast improving school.
Thropton Village First School is a good school following a successful OFSTED Inspection in September 2017 and is now a member of the Three Rivers Learning Trust.
Our mission statement states that at our school:
“Children’s happiness is paramount. Set in the heart of our rural Northumberland village we promote our school values of friendship, trust, respect and tolerance.
Thropton Village First School enables each child to be the very best they can be, through a range of challenging and inspirational learning experiences that gives them an understanding of the wider world.
We are small enough to care but big enough to make a difference.”
The Three Rivers Learning Trust recognise that to be the most robust, high performing and effective of learning trusts, we must welcome and thrive on having a sufficient diverse range of viewpoints…we need to be alert to the risk of becoming dominated by one particular mind-set or strand of opinion. We believe that we need the right people with the necessary skills, time and commitment, and sufficient diversity of perspectives to ensure internal challenge.
If you feel that you have the necessary abilities to make a difference to our school then we would really like to hear from you.
We are holding an information evening for interested candidates on Monday, October 1st. If you would like to attend, please get in touch with the school and we will send you further details including an application pack.
