Our school is proudly placed in the centre of our Northumbrian community which, hand in hand with our school values of friendship, trust, respect and tolerance, form the heart of our curriculum.

The breadth of our curriculum – which matches the scope and intent of the national curriculum – celebrates our rural location, whilst still recognising the importance of children having knowledge and experience of the diverse wider world.

Through careful planning, our knowledge-rich, challenging curriculum ensures that every child’s holistic development blossoms.

From their very first days in our school, each child’s unique successes and progress are celebrated.  We strive to give our children a love of reading.
